I started flying  in 1989 while stationed at Spangdalem A.F.B. in Germany. One Sunday when I had the weekend duty I noticed a couple guys across the main runway on the alternate flying RC aircraft.  I departed my duty station for a quick look and talked to these flyers for a few minutes and eventually learned to fly.  I have been ruined ever since.  I was then stationed at Tinker A.F.B. in OKC. Ok. in 1991 where I fell into the company of a few local pattern flyers.  Low, fast and smooth. Hooked!  What an understatement.  I scratch built my first pattern aircraft and flew non-stop pattern till 1995 when life got in the way... I picked back up flying in 2005 and less than a month later I was back in pattern. Currently I fly a R.C.M.E. Aggressor.

Pattern for me is an obsession, when I'm not flying, I'm building, or trying to figure out a way to get back to the field to work on that elusive perfect flight. I currently work For the Tennessee Valley Authority as a unit operator, operating a coal fired steam generator, but I'd rather be flying!
