To configure your district calendar to gain ownership and enable guest event requests follow these steps:
- First 'Login'. Thyme sees you now as a ‘registered’ user and opens the doors.
- Click on ‘Admin’ at the bottom of the calendar; this presents the Thyme ‘Admin’ page.
- Click on the ‘Calendars’ icon;
- Click on ‘All’ to see all of the calendar owners.
- Click ‘Edit’ for your calendar.
- Under the General tab and the owner item if you don’t see your name (you’ll see my name) click ‘change’.
- In the ‘search’ type a couple of letters of your name or username; click ‘search’.
- Find your name; click ‘Change’. You are now the calendar owner.
- Finally, click the ‘Event Requests’ tab.
- Fill in all the fields you want. Checking ‘enable’ allows guests to submit requests; this turns on the ’+’ for them. Fill in the ‘before and after’ messages. Check the ‘Notify calendar owner of pending requests’ if this is what you want.
