Configuring District Calendars

To configure your district calendar to gain ownership and enable guest event requests follow these steps:

  1. First 'Login'. Thyme sees you now as a ‘registered’ user and opens the doors.
  2. Click on ‘Admin’ at the bottom of the calendar; this presents the Thyme ‘Admin’ page.
  3. Click on the ‘Calendars’ icon;
  4. Click on ‘All’ to see all of the calendar owners.
  5. Click ‘Edit’ for your calendar.
  6. Under the General tab and the owner item if you don’t see your name (you’ll see my name) click ‘change’.
  7. In the ‘search’ type a couple of letters of your name or username; click ‘search’.
  8. Find your name; click ‘Change’. You are now the calendar owner.
  9. Finally, click the ‘Event Requests’ tab.
  10. Fill in all the fields you want. Checking ‘enable’ allows guests to submit requests; this turns on the ’+’ for them. Fill in the ‘before and after’ messages. Check the ‘Notify calendar owner of pending requests’ if this is what you want.
That should do it.
