A 1-day contest, but 2 contests in 1…  We have the normal Don Atwood classic, plus we are adding a “Happy Hour” contest after the AMA/FAI classes.  Happy Hour will feature Club Class, EDF, and Classic Pattern. If you are new to pattern or just want to fly something that isn’t a new fangled pattern plane, Happy Hour is the perfect opportunity to have some fun. The Don Atwood Pattern Classic will feature Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters, FAI and FAI Silver (P21) classes.   Entry is $30. 

At about 2pm, we’ll start Happy Hour with Club Class, Electric Ducted Fan, and a Classic Pattern class.  Entry is $15.  Register for Happy Hour here:  2023 Atwood Happy Hour  

Any AMA legal airplanes are allowed in Sportsman.  AMA membership is required for all participants.  

Lunch will be available for an additional cost.  We’ll provide drinking water.
