Discussion Lists
If you are interested in R/C Precision Aerobatics (pattern), you may want to join the national and district e-mail lists (groups). These lists (groups) are not restricted to members of NSRCA. We hope subscribers would eventually choose to join the NSRCA since it is for and about pattern competition and the pilots!
The reason we call them groups is because they are part of the Google Groups functionality.
How does it work?
These mailing lists (groups) permit you to send an e-mail message to the group's address - our software then relays a copy of your message to all members that have joined the group list. Your participation in this group is strictly optional. You must deliberately join (subscribe) to the group (list) if you want to be part of it. You can leave (unsubscribe) from the group (list) at any time.
Nothing will happen until you join
Just visiting this page is not sufficient to join a group. You must click on one of the links below to subscribe to a particular group. When you subscribe to a group for the first time, the system will send you an email to confirm two things: 1. you are a human and not a "bot", and 2. that you really want to subscribe to the group and didn't do it accidentally. Please check your SPAM folder for the confirmation email that you are joining the group and not a "bot".
When you receive an e-mail from the group, all you need to do is click your REPLY button and then type your response to the email and then click SEND. This will send your reply back to the group.
NSRCA mailing list acceptable usage policy
- The groups are administered at the direction of the NSRCA leadership.
- Occasional teasing, banter, reasoned debate and "flame wars" are part of the exchange, but personal attacks or anti-social behavior will not be tolerated.
- Personal "for sale" postings are allowed. However, if you are posting on behalf of your business, please get prior approval from the NSRCA leadership (or better yet, advertise in the K-Factor!)
- Abuse of the service or other group members are grounds for removal without warning.
The group owners will have the right to remove from the group any member who abuses our rules, without further notice. By using the groups, you agree that the NSRCA, its officers, and its volunteers are not responsible for any consequences of its use. If we receive non-delivery reports from your email address you will be removed from the group. Non-delivery may be caused by your mailbox being full, an invalid email address, or your mail server not accepting emails from our groups, and other reasons.
