Join us for the 2024 Don Atwood Pattern Contest, hosted by the Sacramento Area Modelers.

 A 1-day contest, but 2 contests in 1…  the normal Don Atwood classic, plus we are adding a “Happy Hour” contest after the AMA/FAI classes.  Happy Hour will feature Club Class, EDF, and Classic Pattern.

If you are new to pattern or just want to fly something that isn’t a new fangled pattern plane, Happy Hour is the perfect opportunity to have some fun.

The Don Atwood Pattern Classic will feature Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters, and FAI classes.   Entry is $15 for Sportsman, $40 for other classes. 

At about 2pm, we’ll start Happy Hour with Club Class, Electric Ducted Fan, and a Classic Pattern class.  Entry is $15.  Register on site.

Any AMA legal airplanes are allowed in Sportsman.  AMA membership is required for all participants.
